What Is Rescreening?
Rescreening is the process of removing all old screen mesh and spline from a pool cage and replacing it with new materials.
Rescreening involves stripping all existing screen and spline from a pool enclosure frame and installing fresh mesh throughout. It is the most common major maintenance service for Florida pool cages, typically needed every 8-15 years depending on screen type and sun exposure. A full rescreening includes new spline on every panel, frame inspection, minor frame repairs, and screen door adjustment.
